  Overview

COMMELL's WFB6-976 is the value industrial wallmount 6-slot PICMG Intel Pentium 4 DDR industrial server / workstation platform. With COMMELL FS-976 SBC (Single Board Computer) based on Intel socket 478 Pentium 4 / Celeron architecture and PICMG industrial standard, COMMELL's WFB6-976 features the Intel's latest Pentium 4 / Celeron CPU @ 533/ 400 MHz FSB, 2 GB DDR200/266 SDRAM with ECC and integrated 4xAGP SVGA controller with onboard 64MB DDR SGRAM. The WFB6-976 also offers the dual Intel PRO/100+ LAN, M-systems DiskOnChip embedded flash disk interface and optional onboard dual channel Ultra160 SCSI interface for the advanced data storage, and free 4 full-size PCI/ISA expansive slots with optional configuration.

Powerful Computing Capacity

Based on the built-in COMMELL FS-976 PICMG CPU card, the WFB6-976 offers the advanced computing capacity with Intel Pentium 4 CPU @ 533/400 MHz FSB and  2 GB DDR200/266 SDRAM with ECC. The advanced Intel Hyper-Threading Technology also makes COMMELL WFB6-976 be the ideal industrial computing platform. 

Advanced Onboard 64 MB Video Memory

COMMELL's WFB6-976 integrates with COMMELL's advanced FS-976 PICMG Pentium 4 CPU card, offers the onboard 4xAGP SVGA with 256-bit 3D engine and onboard 64 MB DDR333 SGRAM for the video/image processing application. With the outstanding performance on VGA interface makes WFB6-976 be the ideal solution for VoD (Video on Demand), digital video recorder (DVR), broadcasting (DVB), streaming, monitoring and surveillance, compression (MPEG) and other high-end industrial video / image server / workstation applications.

Integrated Dual LAN and SCSI Interface

The FS-976 SBC in COMMELL's WFB6-976 platform integrates with onboard dual Intel PRO/100+ LAN and PC/104-plus based dual channel Ultra160 SCSI interfaces. It makes COMMELL's WFB6-976 be the ideal solution for networking / CTI application with the dual Intel PRO/100+ LAN, that provides the redundant, double speed or external / internal networking application; the built-in SCSI interface and external one 5.25" drive bay also offer the expansibility for the SCSI based DDS-3/4 DAT devices for CT server platform. 

High Reliable System Configuration

The high reliability of WFB6-976 comes from the rugged construction and system integrated solution as below. The onboard M-systems embedded flash disk interface for embedded OS, driver and AP; the advanced construction provides the anti-vibration/shock drive bay, dust-proof air filter for the critical environment; and the redundant power supply also enhance the life of the system.
