the Intel FSB800 MHz Pentium 4 industrial PICMG multiple PCI/ISA
platform, the FS-978
series. Based on Intel latest Pentium 4 technology, the FS-978
features the 800 MHz FSB on CPU and dual channel DDR400 SDRAM, offers the 6.4
GBps of data transfer bandwidth on both of CPU host bus and system memory bus.

Computing Capacity Based

800 MHz FSB on CPU host bus and dual channel DDR400 SDRAM on system memory
bus, and offers the 6.4 GBps of data transfer bandwidth. The Intel
Pentium 4 Processor with HT Technology Extreme Edition runs at 3.20 GHz

Embedded VGA Expansive Interface To
meet the demand on video application, the FS-978
provides the onboard mini-AGP socket to support the multiple types of display
devices, including the DVI, LVDS, and S/HDTV. The FS-978
onboard mini-AGP interface also supports the 4x or 8x AGP based expansive VGA
modules, such as COMMELL MA-ATI-M10,
the 8xAGP mini-AGP VGA module with ATI M10 VGA chipset and onboard 64 MB of
independent video memory, to provide the advanced video and image processing
capacity for the applications including video on demand (VoD), digital video
recorder ( DVR), broadcasting (DVB), streaming, surveillance, compression,
interaction servers and workstations. Gigabit
Ethernet Networking Solution The
FS-978 offers the
Intel PRO/1000 GbE interface as the primary Ethernet port with Intel 865G GMCH
chipset and CSA Intel 82547EI controller, and optional Intel
PRO/100+ Fast Ethernet interface as the
secondary Ethernet port with Intel ICH5 chipset and onboard Intel 82562ET Phy.
The dual Ethernet ports provide the solution for WAN/LAN, external/internal

Dual Channel Ultra160/320 SCSI Platform With
the onboard PCI LSI 53C1030 controller, the FS-978
offers the dual channel Ultra320 SCSI interface with dual
68-pin D-sub connectors and one 50-pin header connector. The onboard SCSI
interface makes the FS-978
based IPC platform provides the expansive slot-saving solution for the
application need SCSI based devices, such as the CTI (Computer Telecom
Integration) server and workstation. Serial
ATA and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Interface Based
on Intel ICH5 chipset, the FS-978 offers
the Serial ATA and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface. The serial ATA provides
the 150 MBytes/second, and the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface
offers the 480 Mbit/second of data transfer

IDE-based, bootable and driver free CompactFlash flash disk interface also
offers the reliable solid state disk for high reliability and disk free
